Job Description
Job consists in delivering engineering to drill development or exploration wells:
- Report to Head of Drilling Engineering service
- Dedicated to a rig follow-up or to transverse studies
- Design well trajectories and architectures
- Run simulations for casing design, torq and drag, hydraulics, anti-collision, well control
- Issue drilling programs and procedures, end of well reports, feed-back
- Conduct prespud meetings on rigs
- Assess New technologies
- Prepare for drilling services some call for tenders and follow some contracts
- Perform drilling engineering studies
- Follow-up performance through ALI and KPI's
- Prepare and follow well cost and budgets
- Defend to BP Migas technical drilling subjects (AFE, cost overrun, operational problems explanations)
Required Skills
Education
- Bachelor degree preferably in Petroleum or Mechanical engineering
Experience
- Minimum 7 years experience in drilling engineering/operations, either land rig or offshore wells (subsea is a plus, but not required)

- Fluent English
Drilling Superintendent - Balikpapan
Job Description
Job consist in leading from town one Swamp rig or Jack-Up operations:
- Report to Head of Drilling Manager Department
- Dedicated to one or two rigs
- Can be contacted 24/24 7/7
- May lead a crisis response as required
- Responsible for the implementation by the rig of the operations programs and procedures
- Review drilling programs and procedures
- Go regularly on his rig (once a week roughly)
- Replace drilling supervisor on the rig if required
- Organise the operations logistic aspects
- Anticipate problems and prepare alternative plans
- QA/QC on rig reporting and feedback
- Assist in rig selection process
- Validate rig related invoices
- Transfer know-how to supervisors and junior engineers
- Has permanent goal to respect Company rules, procedures, national and international regulations, assess and mitigate risks, improve HSE and operational performance.
Required Skills
Education
- Minimum diploma degree preferabley in Petroleum or Mechanical engineering
Experience
- 12 years of experience in drilling operations, either land rig or offshore wells (subsea is a plus, but not required)

Day Drilling Supervisor - South Mahakam Fields
Job Description
Job consists in leading on the Site one Swamp rig or Jack-up operations:
- Report to Senior Drilling Superintendent
- On the rig 24/24
- Can be called 24/24 7/7
- May lead crisis response as required
- Appointed RSES, represents Company on the rig
- Responsible for the implementation by the rig of the operations programs and procedures
- Organize the operations logistic aspects from the rig
- Anticipate problems and prepare alternative plans
- QA/QC on the rig reporting and feedback
- Validate rig related job tickets
- Transfer know-how to junior supervisors and junior engineers
- Has permanent goal to respect Company rules, procedures, antional and international regulations, assess and mitigate risks, improve HSE and operational performance.

Experience

Competent Person for Lifting Operations (MLO) - Balikpapan
Job Description
Lead and promote the following activities:
- Establishment, roll out and performance monitoring of the Lifting Operations Competence development system
- Establishment, roll out and performance monitoring of the Lifting Operation Procedures
- Establishment, roll out and performance monitoring of the Lifting Equipment Condition assurance system
- Assurance of conformance with Company Rules and specifications
- Review of lifting plans
- Setting objectives for direct reports and monitoring their progress on a regular basis
- Providing direction, mentoring and support to direct reports as required
- Audit of Contractor Operations
- Certification and inspection of lifting equipments from Company and contractors
- Other specific support activities as required
- The nature of the work will be varied and will include both administrative activities in the office, as well as field activities and the management of a team of lifting experts.
Required Skills
Education
- Bachelor Degree in any engineering major.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience of relevant experience in lifting activities.
Skills
- Be familiar with international rigging & lifting inspection code and Indonesian statutory legislation.
